Managing Director - Michael Kofi Atiboly
Mr Michael Atiboly is an Investment Professional with over twenty-six (26) years of practice.
Mr. Michael Atiboly began his career in 1991 as a counterpart staff of Cambridge Education Consultants who were engaged by the UNDP/UNESCO to work on the finance aspect of the Ghana Education Sector Adjustment Program EdSAP.
After the project, he was employed in 1992 as USA and Canada Desk Officer at the Ministry of Finance where he was engaged in various finance issues and investment projects between the United States of America and Canada on one side and Ghana on the other.
He resigned from the Ministry of Finance in November 1993 to join the Investment and Development Division of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT).
Mr. Atiboly was employed as Assistant Manager, Investments in 1993. In 1998, he was promoted Deputy Manager, Investments. In 2002 he was appointed Head of Investments. In a restructure of the Division in 2009 he was appointed Portfolio Manager for Fixed Income and Economically Targeted Investments (ETIs).
In 2011, Mr Michael Atiboly was appointed Special Assistant to the General Manger Investments & Development Division. In February 2013, he was appointed the substantive General Manager of the Investments & Development Division. In March 2014, he was appointed General Manger in the office of the Director General and seconded to the SSNIT’s wholly owned subsidiary the Ghana Industrial and Commercial Estates Limited (GICEL) as Managing Director.
Michael Atiboly has MSc Finance Degree in 1990 from the University of Economics Prague the Czech Republic and a Post Graduate Diploma in Development Finance with concentration on Project Planning, Design, Appraisal and Financing in 1998 from the University of Bradford United Kingdom.
